Leiweb Italy features Zoya Peter Som colors

Enamels from the catwalk

The enamel has earned the title of fashion and accessory designers who say they are large, in collaboration with the cosmetic brand, they started creating their vernis à ongles. And since the dictates of the big screen is the same we can not conclude that cha this season the focus will be at your fingertips

Inspired by winter palette instead of Peter Som for Zoya, who drew his shades from the fashion show next winter. Already sold out overseas this mini collection revolves around three colors: Audrey (no longer available), Evvie and Katherine. The first was born from a need of the designer: "Peter wanted a rose that is not synonymous with white," said the Zoya color designer Rebecca Isa that has created a creamy pink seen on the show on the hands of the models. Evvie, a dark green undergrowth, has painted her toenails instead of the mannequin because, according to Peter, "this year is all about the balance between opposites." The last color, which was not seen on the catwalk but who draws the shades of the fabrics, is the most unexpected. Despite the classic bright and dark eggplant hue, Katherine was thinking more like a top coat, nail polish to pass once: "It 's like a lip gloss, nail only." Rumors tell us that these two shades (Evvie and Katherine) overseas will be proposed again in Zoya's winter collection, so do not miss fatevele!

NailPro Gets to Know Zoya Color Expert Rebecca Isa...

The brains behind all the beautiful Zoya Nail Polish colors!

In the August issue of Nail Pro Magazine, beauty editors interview Rebecca Isa, color expert, designer and visionary for Zoya Nail Polish. Isa leads the way in the industry with her ability to spot trends, create unique, fashion forward colors and deliver on what customers are asking for.

Here are a few excerpts from the article:

What was your first job in the industry?
Working as a part-timer for Glemby. It was in a department store where they had a salon upstairs and a cosmetics counter downstairs. We were trained as makeup artists and had to make sales and makeover goals. I had to really look at my clients and help them discover shades and products that complemented both their features and their lifestyles.

I can't discuss nails without...
Talking about color trends and what people want from their polish. I love creating new shades and hearing people say "Yes! I can finally wear that color." I really enjoy sneaking onto our Twitter and Facebook pages and chatting with people who love it just as much as me. No judgment, just fun with nail polish.

See the complete selection of Zoya Nail Polish color on zoya.com. Over 300 high fashion, long wearing shades free of harmful industrial chemicals like toluene, camphor, formaldehyde, resin, dibutyl phthalate (DBP) that are known to cause cancer and birth defects.

The Mystery of the Vintage Zoya Nail Polish Bottle...

Vintage Zoya Meets Modern Day Zoya!

When Work / Play / Polish discovered an unidentified, vintage Zoya Nail Polish bottle that belonged to her mother when she was a nail tech, she was anxious to find out which color her mystery bottle was. Turning to the Zoya Nail Polish Fairies for help, Color Expert Rebecca Isa took one look at the bottle and instinctively knew it had to be Zoya Nail Polish in Carmen.

After sending a color spoon to compare the color, it was a match! We were touched by her story (read her entire post here) and so happy we were able to help!

"Thanks again to the folks at Zoya who helped me track this down. It’s no surprise to find great people behind a great polish." - Work / Play / Polish

If you are trying to match a specific color or want to see the polish in person before buying, order a color spoon! Looking to learn about the Color Spoon program? Find more information here. See it, Try it, Buy it!
