“Fun collection, very appropriate for summer. I love the ones with the hidden shimmer, but really like Josie as well. I think the one that I am most attracted to is Thandie, because I am SO into amazing oranges and corals right now. Mmmm I even love the way Thandie and Josie look together.” – Vampy Varnish

Here’s a great set of blogger reviews and swatches of the NEW Zoya PixieDust Collection for Summer 2013

“Perfect summery shades for sure and I am still totally into this textured nail trend. I think the stand-out shades are Solange, Stevie and Beatrix. I love that these textured polishes tend to dry so much faster than a regular one and usually only require two coats.” – Vampy Varnish

Miranda is a rose sparkle with a ton of magenta POW. This is my favorite shade out of the bunch. I just love juicy fruit punch-y shades like this.” – Clumps of Mascara

“Every color from this collection was easy to work with and only took 2 coats to become opaque. I didn't use a top coat or base coat for any of the colors, except with Liberty I did use a base coat because I was afraid it would stain. Zoya does recommend a base coat for Liberty that dries matte, like their Get Even base coat.” – Oh Three Oh Four

“Zoya Solange is a metallic yellow-gold textured polish and my favorite of the bunch. It catches the light in the most beautiful ways, and is so glamorous on your nails” – Chalkboard Nails

"As I mentioned – if you know Ziv, then you can imagine the combination of foil, shimmer, sparkle and glitter of the Irresistible shades. Here’s a quick bottle shot comparison of Kerry and Ziv." Work Play Polish

Vampy Varnish - Zoya Irresistible Review & Swatches
"If you are looking for some super summery bright shades that cover completely with just two coats, look no further! I wasn’t completely convinced these would be two-coaters at first because every one was a little thin with just one coat. But then after two coats they were all pretty perfect and opaque. They (Zoya Irresistible Collection Colors) dry fairly quickly because of the metallic finish." Vampy Varnish

"The (Zoya Irresistible Nail Polish) formula was amazing as they applied flawlessly. The flecks rested flat against the nail and provided a multi-dimensional look. I didn't use a ridge filling base coat for these swatches and they level nicely. I almost always use a ridge filler even when I am swatching because I have such visible ridges." Set in Lacquer

Blogger Swatches of the Spring 2013 Lovely Collection!

Monday

Beauty Bloggers are showing the Spring 2013 Zoya Lovely Collection some MAJOR swatch love!

See below for a great set of Spring 2013
swatches in a variety of different skin tones...

"Overall the shimmers go on thin, almost sheer, but they build up quite nicely. Like I said earlier, they remind me lip glosses due to their translucent feel. You could wear them as a gloss by applying only 1 coat or make them opaque in 3 coats. Sometimes I don't like to do 3 coats, but they dried very quickly, so they were not problematic. The cremes also applied great and were able to go on with only 2 coats, except Neely which required 3 thin coats. Overall it's a cute set and the shimmers are hands down my favorites.

"I can't remember if I used two or three coats for Neely, but the formula was awesome. This is my second favorite, I'm just loving these spring cremes!"

"Piaf is a yellow mustard-esque shimmery metallic. This is definitely not a very common yellow, and happily it works on my skin tone! This had a really nice formula; creamy and good coverage with just two coats. It’s kind of unusual, and my favorite one in this collection."

"Jacqueline, 3 coats: pale almond creme.  This color is warm, but it's pale enough that it should flatter multiple skin tones.  It's the perfect "palate-cleanser" after wearing loud holiday polishes.  I really love how clean and polished this looks.  Formula-wise, it was the same as Blu: thin, but easy to apply."

Vampy Varnish Swatches Zoya NYFW Designer & Diva Collections...

Early reviews and swatches of the NEW Zoya Nail Polish NYFW Designer and Diva Collections are starting to roll in, and one word comes to mind - WOW!

If you thought you weren't ready to hear the word "Fall" just yet, these swatches from Vampy Varnish will make you think twice...

"Evvie is a medium green creme. It’s a dusty shade, which makes it look cooler I think. I love how subdued and edgy it looks, and I don’t think I have any other green like it! Weird. I think this was my favorite shade from this side of the fall collections.

"Song is a bright blue metallic with light blue shimmer. This sucker is so saturated it was almost just one coat. It’s such a rich jewel-like blue. Gorgeous and vivid."

The NYFW 2012: Designer, Diva and Gloss Collections will be available mid July.
